An independent community theatre and studio venue, needed to balance subsidising creative support with commercial savvy.

To serve its community of creatives, the theatre needed to provide a number of services free of charge to support up and coming artists.
To supplement this and be able to operate viably, it wanted to maximise the income from commercial operations, such as tickets to performances and events, food and drink from the cafe bar and meeting room hire.

The theatre wanted an online event and venue management system that could incorporate its multiple revenue streams in one place, from the use of facilities, private hire of studio and meeting space, to drop in co-working, box office events and its thriving cafe.
It also required an online booking system, to improve and simplify the customer experience, and remove the complex administration of managing multiple services. The management team needed to be able to differentiate between its various customer groups and implement strategies for generating new business and developing new customer offers.
In addition, the solution needed to accommodate a number of existing long term booking commitments to ensure block or repeat bookings were honoured.
